My name is Lucia Rongerude. [luˈtʃiə ˈɹɑnjəɹud]. I am a fourth-year undergraduate Linguistics and Spanish student with a minor in International studies. Born in San Francisco and later moving to Des Moines, Iowa, I have been exposed to all sorts of linguistic diversity. I spend my free-time reading, traveling, and learning new languages, and I even lived in Spain for over half a year. My research interests include syntax, phonetics, language contact, and Indigenous language conservation.
